Some children are shy, some are eager, some don't know what they want, some know EXACTLY what they want. As an artist I try to collaborate with each subject to create art that brings fantasy to life. Although I never push a child into being painted if they're truly scared, I do know plenty of tricks to make them feel more at ease with a process that can sometimes be a little bit ticklish!  Even kids who dislike sitting still can be painted with the right approach and attitude - and a lot of patience!  It's amazing how openhearted kids can be when we listen to and acknowledge their dreams.
